AUGUST 2016 PROVISIONAL RESULTS
The Hurlingham Academy officially came into existence on January 1st 2015, replacing the former Hurlingham and Chelsea School. The school has already made significant gains since this change. In August 2016, the school achieved its best ever GCSE results, with a significant improvement from 2015. We are delighted that in just 5 terms after becoming an academy, our results are above national average in terms of attainment and progress.
As a result, the proportion of our pupils making expected or more than expected progress between Key Stages 2 and 4 is above national average. This is particularly significant given the national decline in GCSE results in August 2016. For these reasons, The Hurlingham Academy is on a rapid trajectory to become a truly outstanding school.
