Sports Day 2017

On Friday 14th July, we held our second annual Sports Day! The mood in school was one of anticipation and excitement during line-up in the morning as students prepared to make the journey across west London to the fantastic athletics track at Brunel University.

Helped by our returning Year 11 students Lisa, Levvi, Lou-Anne, Maria, Tyreck and Bliss, Mr Pudney put together a brilliantly organised event with an action-packed schedule. We were also delighted to be joined by legendary GB sprinter and British 100m record holder Linford Christie, who addressed our fascinated students with some words of inspiration.

After some brilliant performances (especially from Aequitas in the staff relay!) Caritas finished top of the points board, and gained a huge 500 points for their house in the overall competition! However, it was not enough to catch Unitas overall, who claimed victory in the house competition for the second year in a row. Bring them down next year!
