Hurlingham Academy Art Excellence Programme

The Art Excellence Programme is designed to support aspirational and ambitious art students to pursue their passion for learning and thirst for wider knowledge. Students will be guided through the challenging process of attaining places at top sixth form and
universities, while developing their wider social skills.

Entry requirements
  • Art aptitude entrance assessment
  • Mixed media materials will be provided on the day of the assessment
  • The assessment will be marked and feedback will be provided to students and parents
How will the program run?
  • There are 15 spaces available on the Art Excellence Programme
  • Students will have 1.5 hours a week after school for extra Art lessons
  • The programme will start in September 2025
  • Trip opportunities – British galleries and an international trip in the summer term
  • Collaboration with London museums and galleries. Including: the Bomb Factory Art Foundation
  • Individual 1:1 mentoring to support and guide students in discovering and developing individual
