Earth Day Celebrated From Afar by the Hurlingham Academy

Despite the temporary school closures, students and staff at The Hurlingham Academy took the opportunity to celebrate Earth Day as a whole school community last Wednesday.  

Earth Day is a global initiative that encourages people to think about how they can have a positive impact on the world around them and protect it for future generations.  This year's theme in particular - marking 50 years since the first of these celebrations was held - is climate action.

GCSE Success Continues At The Hurlingham Academy

Students at The Hurlingham Academy are celebrating after achieving another excellent set of GCSE results today – consolidating four years of improvements.

This summer, 78% of students achieved five or more good passes (grade 4 or above) including English and maths, with a number of them celebrating gaining top grades of 8 and 9.

Carmen! Performance at London's Olympic Park

Last night, pupils from The Hurlingham Academy took to the stage at the Copper Box Arena to perform in a fantastic production of Carmen! alongside their peers from United Learning’s national group of schools.
