The Hurlingham Academy Students Receive GCSE Results

Students at the Hurlingham Academy are celebrating taking their next steps as young adults after receiving their GCSE grades today.

As a result of COVID-19, students and staff across the country have found themselves in an unprecedented situation this year with the cancellation of GCSE examinations.  Students have therefore been awarded grades based on what their teachers predicted they would achieve, except in cases where the model created by Ofqual has awarded a higher grade.

Earth Day Celebrated From Afar by the Hurlingham Academy

Despite the temporary school closures, students and staff at The Hurlingham Academy took the opportunity to celebrate Earth Day as a whole school community last Wednesday.

Earth Day is a global initiative that encourages people to think about how they can have a positive impact on the world around them and protect it for future generations.  This year's theme in particular - marking 50 years since the first of these celebrations was held - is climate action.
